Too sensitive. Too much. Not enough. Wrong about what you remember, wrong about what you felt, wrong about what actually happened. If you spent years hearing some version of this, it doesn't just fade the day you leave. The voice sticks around, sometimes louder than your own.

Gaslighting works by making you doubt the most basic instrument you have for understanding your own life — your own perception. Working through it isn't about proving him wrong (you don't owe anyone that proof). It's about slowly, patiently rebuilding trust in your own read of things: your memory, your instincts, your sense of what's true.

This meditation is a small piece of that rebuilding. It won't erase years of conditioning in twenty minutes, but it can offer a few minutes where your own voice gets to be the one you listen to — not as an act of defiance, just as a quiet return to what was always yours.
